FERM World Rally Team direct in top 10 at WRC Comeback
5 years ago

This weekend, the ADAC Deutschland Rally 2014 developed a war of attrition. The FERM World Rally Team stayed calm on the heat, in spite of the changing weather conditions. Almost 1,5 year after the last Word Cup rally, the team, Dennis Kuipers and Robin Buysmans, was successful with it’s return with the 8th position.

Kuipers did not expect this and is very satisfied with the 8th position. Together with his Belgian navigator, the FERM driver started on the 11th position. Where several competitors made mistakes, Kuipers and Buysmans kept going in their Ford Fiësta RS WRC and moved on to the 8th position.

Dutch rally fans

The support of the many Dutch fans along the heat inspired the team to find back their match practice. This was the fourth Deutschland Rally for the FERM WRT and never before so many Dutch flags were shown along the heat.

With the support of M-Sport, the Ford factory team, Dennis Kuipers improved his tenth position in 2011. The strong comeback in the premier league of the rally sport is an excellent base for the following WRC match. From 3 till 5 October 2014, the FERM World Rally Team competes in the World Championship in France. Thierry Neuville and Nicolas Gilsoul won the ADAC Deutschland Rallye in a Hyundai.
